Made famous in the late seventies on Broadway and in the West End this marvellous ‘feel-good’ musical mixes the ‘must-never-haves’ for adult performers….. a self-confident, lovable, plain speaking, pre-teen, red head girl , her cute friends and, yes, a lovable dog! What hope do the adults have…..

Annie is a spirited orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the haggard, embittered, but most definitely comic, Miss Hannigan. Much to Miss Hannigan’s annoyance, Annie is chosen as ward to the billionaire Oliver Warbucks by Grace Farrell his personal secretary and she also befriends a lovable mutt named Sandy. Enter Hannigan’s crooked brother ‘Rooster’ and his ‘moll’ Lilly who spot the opportunity to make a mint from Warbucks by claiming they are Annie’s long lost parents. Their plans are foiled when Annie befriends ‘Daddy’ Warbuck’s friend, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who uncovers the crooks in the nick of time.
